James brings a unique, multi-disciplinary background to financial planning, which allows him to take an open-minded and strategic approach to addressing client concerns.
He has been managing investments and providing advisory services since 2003. After completing the American College of Financial Services’ study curriculum, he passed the board certifying examinations to earn the CFP ® (Certified Financial Planner®) designation in 2007.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, James worked in the biotechnology industry as a scientist engaged in novel drug discovery research, and later in product and marketing management. He has traveled extensively to many parts of the world.
James was educated at the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.), UCLA (M.S.), University of San Diego (MBA) and American College of Financial Services.
